Children’s Hospital Colorado Rodeo Experience held every year in January where cowboys, cowgirls, queens, music artists and more take the rodeo to the kids.
Cause of the Quarter
The University of Colorado Cancer Center in metro Denver is one of only 50 NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the nation and is the only such center within the state. What does this mean? It means UCHealth patients gain the benefit of groundbreaking research and clinical trials and providing access to those trials to all of the communities we serve.
Brandy is a fun-loving and caring college student from Hyannis, Nebraska. Starting out as a star athlete, she chose to rodeo for the University of Wyoming and get an elementary education degree. In March she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She has recently gone into remission and her story continues to inspire others.
Kacey is a competitive, compassionate breakaway roper from Colorado. She was diagnosed with lymphoma in June and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. She is determined to beat cancer, and we believe she will!
